Have you heard of Penny Auctions?

A little info for whomever might want to earn extra $$$. You can make a paycheck with penny auctions now. The craze that started in Europe in 2005, is now here and it is crazy!! The most interactive, fun way to win new items for pennies on the dollar. But, on top of that, the American company that is doing it here shares the huge profits with the bidders. You can go to www.carz1.mybidshack.com and on left side go to "hear presentation". Very…See More

Hello Spring!!

Well the Hardeeville, SC weekend Powwow was just held on the weekend of March 13-14. This is a low country event that is usually a good sign that spring has almost sprung. Even though the weather was a little cool and blustery, it was still a wonderful weekend of being regaled by native Americans and their dance, dress and culture. By the way, I have discovered a wonderful website that lists the many great powwows around the country with info and dates on all of them. It is simply…See More

My heritage

My interest in starting this site came from my heritage. Through my mothers side of the family, old blood in Virginia, I had lineage with a Cherokee princess whom had the Americanized last name Gentry. This I have known about for years and may very well have other Native American blood in me from fathers' side. But at this time that is not known for sure.

They greatness of all Native Americans and there ways have always intrigued me. Their closeness to the gods and nature is amazingly coming to the forefront of alot of todays thinking. Many people are realizing the oneness of all life.

I would love for others to share their heritage and history stories here online for others. I really have no true stories to share but am very interested in all tribes. Please share and let's bring the greatness of all Indian Nations to the world!!

The Legend Of The Cherokee Rose

Legend Of The Cherokee Rose (nu na hi du na tlo hi lu i)

A Cherokee Legend

When gold was found in Georgia, the government forgot its treaties and drove the Cherokees to Oklahoma. One fourth of them died on the journey west. When the Trail of Tears started in 1838, the mothers of the Cherokee were grieving and crying so much, they were unable to help their children survive the journey. The elders prayed for a sign that would lift the… Continue
